Welcome to the very first film festival at Missions Fest Vancouver! As a co-founder of Reel Light (a Metro Vancouver area professional fellowship for Christians who work in media and entertainment), I have been pleased to serve as 2010 Film Festival Director. Together with committee members Greg Meeres, Wesley Lowe and Marnie Wooding, a program of 11 mission-themed film screening events and 3 film seminars have been created. In most cases, filmmakers are present to represent their film and talk about their work. We even have the privilege of hosting the Vancouver premiere of two films.
